Steven,

Is there a way to have the Invoice numbering not span from Client to Client and Project to Project?

I sent an Invoice #1 to a Client last week, and was preparing another first invoice for another Client this week. Problem is this invoice is numbered #2 and I haven't yet invoiced this Client.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Jon

Hi Jon,

The short answer is no. The invoice number is a global number that is incremented with each new invoice. However, you can always change the base invoice number by going to the iPhone Settings app and scrolling until you see the timewerks icon, there you can set the start invoice number. So, you could change this number each time  you want to invoice a client-- probably not a workable solution but it would allow you to send an invoice #1 to different clients.

The reason we went with a global invoice number is because that is how most accounting programs works (i.e. Quickbooks, etc.); they increment the invoice number regardless of client.
