Hi Bollo,
Thanks for your post. I can understand why you are frustrated. It's true we have not had an update in many months. We are a very small company and we have spent the last few months on a project building an iPhone application for another customer. As a result, the updates to Timewerks have fallen behind our normal monthly-release schedule. The good news, however, is we are now back on track with Timewerks development (with the addition of a new rockstar developer) and we have some very new and exciting features planned in the coming months. We plan on submitting the next release, Timewerks 1.7 to Apple on 30 November, 2009. We are hoping the review process will be quick and Timewerks 1.7 will be in the App Store by mid-December. New features in this release include: -- invoice editing -- built-in backup/restore functionality -- invoice improvements including the ability to add a custom logo -- Dutch language version -- multiple bug fixes
Additionally, we may include (depending on our translator) -- French Language Version -- Italian Language Version
After that, we have many new features coming, most notably, a web-based companion to Timewerks.
As a side note, in regard to comments posted on the German iTunes App Store about the developers of Timewerks relaxing on a lonely island with the proceeds of our App Sales and forgetting about our customers. This could not be farther from the truth. We support our customer's 100%. But, the financial reality of the App Store (i.e. it's hard to feed/clothe/shelter the family on $250-300/week), has meant we have had to focus our efforts over the past few months on establishing the consulting side of our business to make ends meet. Now that we have done that, we can return our focus to what to love most: writing our own apps for customers like yourself.
Thanks again for your support and patience,
Stephen
