It would be very useful if, once an invoice was generated, specific items could be edited and the invoice could be recreated. There have been a number of instances where I noticed an error only after generating an invoice. After that, the items can't be changed. Then I have to generate a PDF and mess with it to correct the error. And I can't change the data in the Timewerks database. (If this functionality DOES exist and I'm using the application incorrectly, please let me know!) Thanks.

Hi DanaIsle,

Yes, you CAN edit an invoice after it has been created. Here's how:
  • Navigate to the invoice detail view.
  • Tap the Edit button (Upper right corner)
  • The invoice becomes editable (you can edit invoice number, date, Terms, Reference)
  • To edit invoice items themselves, tap the blue button next to either hours or items while in edit mode.
  • In the task list that appears, tap the item you want to edit.
  • The detail view of the item appears. Edit the item as desired.
  • Tap the back button twice to return to the invoice detail view.
  • Now, when you view the pdf, a new invoice will be generated with the updated values.

Please let us know if you have any further questions. Or, if you have ideas on how we might improve this feature.

Thanks!
