Some users have reported problems accessing the Timewerks web server via their web browser.

If you cannot acces your backup data, try the following steps:
  • From the iPhone home screen tap Settings
  • Then tap Wi-Fi
  • Under "Choose a Network", find the network name you are connected to (i.e. the one with the check mark next to the name) and click the blue button with the arrow inside of it.
  • Under "IP Address" you will see your phone's IP address. Write down that number.
  • Finally, try connecting with your web browser using the number. For example if the number is 192.168.1.3, then try connecting via http://192.168.1.3:8080

What are the next steps if this doesn't work? I'm connected to my BELL221 home network, the DHCP IP Address is 192.168.2.21, but http://192.168.2.21:8080/ and http://192.168.2.21 both give an error:

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.2.21:8080.

One thing to check in this situation would be to make sure port 8080 is not being used by another service on your computer. Also, check to make sure your router or firewall does not have port 8080 blocked.

Thanks,
Stephen
