I understand delays in upgrades so this is not a complaint.

Of the feature requests I've just read, and their missed delivery estimates, the feature I am most interested in is iPad support.  Either a single iPhone/iPad upgrade or a separate HD app.

Do you have an estimate on when an iPad version will be available?

Also, is an iOS 5 compatible release planned?

Any news on an Android version?  I have an Android tablet and soon an Android phone (waiting for the SGSII), Timewerks sure would be sweet on my Asus Transformer.....

This employee tracking would be useful. After almost 2 years, I find a need for this daily. When the timer for a particular job is started,  could there be a separate call for the number of people working on that time clock? If their names, and rate of pay, had been setup previously like a work item, then when the timer was stopped there would be total time for the client and, separately, time for each worker. When the invoice was created, the client would be billed and a total for each employees' time could be generated.

Not quite. We're shooting for iPad and iPhone, with full sync by June, and then an Android version later this summer.  Thanks!

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the suggestion.  Not a bad idea.  I'll look into add more functionality around mileage. Also, I wanted to let you know, it is possible to enter start and stop times in the add hours scree. You must first enable this on a project level. Go project detail->Hours Options->Time Entry Mode and select "enter start and stop times"

As a consultant, I get to deduct mileage even if I don't charge it to clients. I would like to be able to enter start and end odometer readings or miles driven, start and finish location (GPS or Contacts lookup would be nice), and set or clear a "billable" checkbox and have Timewerks create an entry just like a +Hours entry. SETTINGS would need to allow me to enter my per-mile rate. Entered miles would go into two pools - billable and non-billable for later reporting.

I also would like to be able to enter a start and end time in +Hours (in addition to duration) so that I don't need to do the calculation myself.

Hi Lee,

Yes, that's the goal. We will eventually support full sync across devices (iphone, iPad, Android) via the website.  We hope to have it all working by June 2011.

I nned to merge data that i have on both devices. whemn can that be ready?  Its a feature that should happen on the website right?  with a back up of the data on each device and then merge tham online, then restore them so that each is updated.  Can you cloud this so that our data is online as a back up and merges auto like mobile me or google?

Thanks for your post. Android is coming, but realitically, it's not going to happen until this summer. We're working on the iPad version and then we'll move on to Android.
